ABOUT ABOUT

"Sick: Breaking the Silence" is a theatrical event and activist movement all in one. Follow the stories of 4 individuals and how they overcome mental illness.
How can mental illness affect our daily lives and the ones we love? How can we break through stigmas and create more public spaces to talk about these issues? Where does the important dialogue on mental illness start? Together through the art of spoken word, movement, music and visual arts, we tackle through these difficult questions and find the light within the darkest times.

Topics such as self-care and getting help are also addressed.

Original production devised and performed by Zinnia Santiago, Gabriel Hoffman, Brooke Whitmire, Trevor Harewood. Directed by Chloe Cole-Wilson.
